Pointed Pen Calligraphy Workshop
Tracing it's beginning to the early 19th Century Western World, pointed or dip pen calligraphy has seen a renaissance in the recent years but with a modern twist.
The workshop aims to introduce participants to a modern take on this classical writing tool. By familiarising with the oblique pen and understanding the fundamentals of letter and word construction based on the Copperplate script, the workshop will give participants a good base on which to explore contemporary styles and create their own calligraphy pieces.
Take-home kit includes:
- 1 Oblique Pen Holder
- Small Jar of Sumi Ink
- Pencil and Eraser
- Layout Pad
- Guide Sheets and Lettering Exemplars
- A6 Card Stock
